Angelo Lorenzetti during a time out
ph. Trabalza
Perugia, 25th March 2017
“This result it’s really a pity, but I still think that we showed a good volleyball during great part of the match – said Diatec Trentino’s coach Angelo Lorenzetti at the end of the match -. There are obviously positive and negative aspects about our performance; our reception has been good and steady tonight but our service hasn’t convinced me at all. We especially didn’t manage to fight against our own difficulties during the counter-attack phase. We haven’t taken advantage of some important occasion and in the end we suffered because of our mistakes. We just have to think about match 3 now; we knew that it would have been hard versus Perugia and tonight we confirmed our thoughts”.
Match 3 will be played on Sunday 9th April at PalaTrento (at 6 pm); next week there will be the double confrontation of semi-finals of 2017 CEV Cup against the Turkish team of Fenerbahce. The going match is scheduled for Tuesday 28th March at 8.30 pm at PalaTrento, while the return match will be played in Istanbul in seven days (on Saturday 1st April, at 6 pm).
